Summary:
Our client located on the far west side of Madison is seeking a temporary, part-time Human Resources Assistant to support their HR team with critical year-end activities pertaining to open enrollment, benefit administration, and reporting. This role is anticipated to go through the end of January 2025 and pays $22-$25/hour based on experience. Hours are part-time, 20-25 hours per week between the hours of 8am-5pm.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support for open enrollment and benefit administration, including invoice processing and leave of absence tasks.
  • Assist with year-end reporting, audits, budgeting, and document updates for the new year.
  • Support associate offboarding or changes, as well as benefit renewal activities.
  • Partner with the HR team on the year-end performance review and merit increase process.
  • Handle various administrative tasks to ensure smooth HR operations.

Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of administrative support experience.
  • HR experience strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Willingness to complete background check, credit check, and drug screen.
