We are hiring a Machine Operator for second shift in Watertown, WI. In this role, you will set up, operate, and maintain heavy press and milling equipment in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This is a second shift position, Monday through Friday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., with overtime opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate press lines, milling machines, and forming equipment to meet production specifications
- Perform machine changeovers, troubleshooting, and adjustments to ensure efficiency
- Operate and maintain fully automatic punch presses, minimizing downtime
- Verify dimensions and quality of raw materials and finished parts
- Load coil, strip, or blanks and set tension on slack loop
- Adjust forming press/straightener for optimal performance
- Replace milling heads and perform manual milling operations
- Remove and properly handle scrapped or non-conforming parts
- Complete operator-level maintenance and keep work areas clean
- Assist in training new or Level 1 team members
Qualifications:
- Basic math and computer skills
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- One or more years of manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to stand for 8–12 hours and perform repetitive motions
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally push/pull up to 75 pounds
- Comfortable working in a loud manufacturing environment
