Summary:
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable temporary Administrative Assistant to join their team. This role supports the Tax Administration team with return delivery, document management, and special projects. It’s a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a professional (yet fun!) environment, thrives on organization, and takes pride in accuracy. Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. and will operate fully onsite on the west side of Madison.

This role is anticipated to last through October 2025.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver tax returns through electronic systems (DocuSign) and assemble printed returns for UPS, USPS, or certified mailing.
  • Scan and upload client documents, including signed e-file authorizations and engagement letters.
  • Update database and assist with preparing client engagement documents.
  • Take on special projects as assigned .
  • Provide consistent, professional, and customer-focused administrative support.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of administrative experience required; professional services firm experience preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with PeopleSoft Financials a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong grammar and attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple deadlines and confidential information with accuracy and discretion.
  • Strong organizational skills, customer service focus, and a proactive, team-player mindset.
  • Willingness to complete background check and education verification.
